Welcome!

Welcome!

The website is finally finished and I promise you it has been worth the wait. I want to start by welcoming everyone to the site. My work has changed quite a bit in the last year and a half, so for those of you who have not been to a show in a while there is a lot of new and exciting work. Some of you many have seen the House series at some of my more recent shows, but the American Still-Life series has yet to be shown publicly, so with exception to a few close friends, this is the first time any of these pieces have been seen. Be sure to it check out and let me know what you think.

As always, I have paintings up around the neighborhood. Currently I am showing work from the House series at Zella Brown, a home decorating boutique in Wicker Park, 1444 N. Milwaukee, Chicago.

The Around the Coyote Fall Arts Festival is here and as always I will be showing. The festival is October 12th through October 14th (Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday 11am-6pm). You can find me and my work in the Wicker Park Fieldhouse, 1425 N. Damen, Chicago. As part of the festival, I will also have a few paintings at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division. Check www.aroundthecoyote.org for more information and I hope to see you there.

I would love to hear from you so please email me with any questions or comments, email@pamelamichellejohnson.com. If you would like to be added to my email list for notification of future shows and events, just let me know. Otherwise be sure to check the website news section for regular updates.

Very importantly, I would like to thank Maya Bruck for all of her time and energy in putting this site together. She had many great ideas and suggestion. The site looks amazing and it is all thanks to her. Also I would like to thank Jaime O’Connor for all her help with the written portions of the site, she is better at putting into words what I am more capable of saying with paint.

Thanks for checking out the website. I will be posting new work regularly so be sure to check back soon.
