My good friend and the amazingly talented writer Damien James wrote a six part essay on the power of art, social change and consumption for PBS’s Art 21 blog.   He has included my work in his discussion, along with numerous influential writers, film makers and fellow artists.  It is an insightful and highly recommened read, Part 1: Art as Transportation, Part 2: Useful Junk, Part 3: Ceci n’est pas une Twinkie, Part 4: All Spin of One Kind or Another, Part 5: Effortless, and Part 6: Postscript and Postmortem.

I am super excited about the upcoming Salon Series at The Bluebird.  My work will be featured for the month of January.  The best part is that there will be two evenings where I will be there to engage in a discussion about art over wine and a great meal.
